What's the written communication excerise and says there's no practice material available for this excerise for before maps and timetables etc..You’re not told your results, only if you’ve passed or failed.
I would assume you’d have to get most things right to pass though yes.
Good luck

I applied for the job and got invited to the online test a couple weeks later. I was notified I passed that the next day and booked the classroom assessment (maps, timetables etc). I attended that two weeks later. The day after I was invited to the role play and SBI. I got extremely lucky and got a date 2 days after. You have to pass each stage. If you don’t pass role play, you will go home therefore not able to do the SBI.
You may or may not find out if you’ve passed the SBI (if you make it that far) on the day. Some do, some don’t.
There is so much valuable information in the previous forum and this that I used. Also TfL’s website for info too that really helped me concerning any role play scenarios.
Good luck![]()
Same me too, have you received a response yet? I read that it takes 10-14 working days for them to get back to you.I completed my online assessment on the 15th, how long does it typically take to get a reply about my results?
If it’s after the online assessment, this will be the classroom where there is tests based on maps, timetables etcGuys I got invited to interview I just booked my slot. So it took 5 working days to get back to me after I completed the online assessment.
Any tips for this interview? Is it the interview first or the roleplay?
Oh okay thanks for the heads up, is there anything I can do to prepare for it beforehand? If it’s after the online assessment, this will be the classroom where there is tests based on maps, timetables etc
Roleplay and SBI comes after this if passed!
They will send some practise material but personally I just studied the maps again, just got familiar with them tbhOh okay thanks for the heads up, is there anything I can do to prepare for it beforehand?

Leave entitlement runs to calendar year and will be pro-rated to start date - for CSA2s the full leave entitlement is 37 days, so I would estimate the leave available for an October being somewhere around the 7-9 days mark.If a CSA has a start date in October, how many days of holiday would they accrue for the financial year 2025? Does full holiday entitlement run yearly from the employee’s start date, or is it accrued according to the financial year?
My interview is in 2 weeks. When will they send practice material? They will send some practise material but personally I just studied the maps again, just got familiar with them tbh![]()

I think the best thing is to offer the customer as many options as possible for example you could have said i will ask my supervisor if he can let you through and let the receiving station know your coming as a one off journey maybeLast year I went for the csa roleplay. I failed somehow. It started with a passenger trying to tap her card it was a valid date not expired contactless card. I asked if she had alternative payment methods she forgot her bag and phone at work. So I tried her card at the ticket machine didn't work. She asked if I was new I said no (on the sheet it said you are new) she then said is there anything I can do to get home im very tired after her shift I said sorry cant let you through. On the tip sheet it said revenue protection is our priority. Help??
I did mention a supervisor i did radio through to him but obviously was all pretend and said he was dealing with something as it was only us two in the room. Felt like I dealt with it very well but obvs unsuccessful.. anyone else got tips/adviceI think the best thing is to offer the customer as many options as possible for example you could have said i will ask my supervisor if he can let you through and let the receiving station know your coming as a one off journey maybe
I had a similar role play. Turned out she had no money on her card.Last year I went for the csa roleplay. I failed somehow. But what if she has no moneyI had a similar role play. Turned out she had no money on her card.
TfL is selling a service… just think of that before anything else
That isn’t TfL’s fault. But what if she has no money
So basically don’t let the person come through the gates without any money. But offer as much assistance as possible. That isn’t TfL’s fault.
They are selling a service… That’s the main thing
Exactly thisSo basically don’t let the person come through the gates without any money. But offer as much assistance as possible.
