Well the sign's in Japanese, but other than that, ???
The sign features a seagull-boy called Kamomen who would like you to take your litter home with you.

The track is standard gauge at the station is a clue.
I think there is enough information in the thread now for the station to be findable. I believe its a distinctive environment that this station is in.

Thinking possibly Nagasaki when I heard mention of Kamomen (Kyushu's Shinkansen is Kamome) but their stations are a lot newer than this.
Think this is the little riverside park and picnic area under Shin Kobe.

Correct, the station is Shin-Kobe. and i believe the floor has been declared open.
(For the record there is a very nice walk up from Shin-Kobe station past a lot of waterfalls)
It is very different to a lot of Japanese Shinkansen station, in fact its very different to a lot of Japanese stations!

Sorry - can't help with that error. I remember the west facing bays at Zagreb - this time last year we were based for a few days in Ljubljana - I needed to get back there for work and and my partner wanted to come back the long way round (via Ogulin and Rijeka ) so we temporarily separated there.

Can't be Terontola as it's not electrified. Although that particular loco is now allocated to Siena, I'm thinking of somewhere on the Calabrian coast. Let's have a stab at Catanzaro Lido.
