I saw 730235 in traffic on Friday 15th, and it also worked the EUS-MKC circuit on the 14th according to RTT. Would the 14th be it's first day in traffic or has it worked before? Thanks. John

Member KT550 reports that he had it for haulage on 3rd August from London Euston to Harrow & Wealdstone - see post #2790g New Haulages thread. But perhaps he's a driver / guard on testing / mileage accumulation run?

730218 was out on the Liverpool Birminghams had it from Wolves to Birmingham Saturday believe it's first day in operation was on the Friday

21st July will see 2 of the 8 trains switch to 730/2.
2 more will swap on 4th August.
2 more will swap on 18th August.
2 350s will remain.

All 730/2 will run as single, 5 coach, sets

There will be a 10 car set for ECS moves on Saturday mornings from the 27th, 5F03 Crewe to Lime St. That's the only 10 car due to be out of anyone does want to see a double set.

730216 has been at Soho L.M.D. for some time now. Until mid-July, it had been used for test/training runs to Crewe.
Yesterday (20th August), according to RTT, it was used to replace 730212 on two journeys in the afternoon (1F62 and 1G63). 1F62 was terminated at Crewe due to late running caused by the swap. After that, 730212 was back in service for the rest of the day.
Is this the first time 730216 has been used in pasenger service?
