I received an invitation for an assesement but when I click on the link there is no slot available. Did that happened to someone here ?
Where did you get this?Over 8000 applications for all depots and recruitment team is very small.
Well done! I received an email this morning too passing the SJT.I have just now received the email confirming that I passed the SJT and have been told I need to wait to be called for psychometric testing. I’ve already passed all the psychometric testing last year but I always seem to get stuck at this point. Hopefully, they finally call me for an interview.
We shall see!
you say that, but in the November round I passed the SJT and then 4 months later they did bring me in to do stage 1. I have however been waiting for stage 2 ever sinceI've also had the passed the SJT test email for the Clacton mainline job, and in the pool for the next stage. I am pretty sure that is the soft approach to saying thanks for your interest but we have the candidates we want.
I've applied loads of times over a ten year period and never been lucky enough to get further.
I guess its pot luck then! They might get people fail the advanced tests, then we might get an email in a few months.Uh

The reality is in the middle. Getting placed in the pool does roughly translate to "you've passed, but our applicant pipeline is full so you're lumped indiscriminately with 000's of other applicants".Uh

It’s definitely a long game. Which is frustrating; but hopefully worth it in the long run.The reality is in the middle. Getting placed in the pool does roughly translate to "you've passed, but our applicant pipeline is full so you're lumped indiscriminately with 000's of other applicants".
Some people will make it out of the pool, but its likely less than 1% of those in it. My 2 cents but if you're in a pool, hope for the best but certainly plan for the worst.
Only in previous applications.Anyone here applied for Norwich and completed the SJT?
The more I read this thread the less confident I'm feeling about progressing any further. I know it is a difficult job to get into, but I think I've underestimated just how difficult. Oh well, keeping fingers crossedOnly in previous applications.
The invitation will probably be able to tell you more than anyone on hereI have received an invitation for the assesment center. Does anyone know what I should be prepared for ?
Look in the main assessment threadI have received an invitation for the assesment center. Does anyone know what I should be prepared for ?

I haven't yet.Has anyone received the SJT for Norwich yet?
Hello can you please help? I have received an email to do online tests with greater Anglia. Would this be the SJT?I've also had the passed the SJT test email for the Clacton mainline job, and in the pool for the next stage. I am pretty sure that is the soft approach to saying thanks for your interest but we have the candidates we want.

That is more than likely. Have had that a couple of times now. If it is, it's not timed, but best to get it done as soon as possible.Hello can you please help? I have received an email to do online tests with greater Anglia. Would this be the SJT?
I'm in a similar position. Passed stage 1 back in June last year and never been invited to stage 2. I've emailed twice and been told my application is still live, but they can't give me a date for the second stage. Not sure whether to reapply or not.My first time applying I got to stage 1 and passed. Just never been invited to the stage 2 yet. When chased they’ve said I’m still in the pool but they don’t know when I’ll get to do back for the next bit.
Think they’re probably waiting to see what happens when they’re nationalised. I know it’s difficult but keep positive, it will happen I’m sureI'm in a similar position. So frustrating isn’t it. I’m just sat here hoping for the magical email whilst trying to not rage quit my current job :’)I'm in a similar position. Source? And what about internal hires (from non-driver roles)?Great Eastern depots and Norwich are now depot driver to mainline only. No more street to seat.
This is part of the driver pay deal agreed this week. Internal non driver and external candidates will have to apply to be depot drivers at these locations to progress to mainline.Source? And what about internal hires (from non-driver roles)?
