Buongiorno a tutti! I've just been online to book Frecciarossa tickets for our Autumn trip to Italy on 30/09/2025....and I noticed to my disappointment that the morning service is departing from Gare de Lyon at 06 41 instead of 07 29. Arrival at Milano Centrale is still at the usual time of 13 50. Presumably this is due to engineering work diversion(s). Does anyone on here know which route is being used? I would like to know whether the diversion(s) involve a reversal before choosing our seats. Many thanks in advance.

bahn.com shows that there's a 13m wait in Lyon PD on that date, and a slightly longer time Lyon-Chambery.
So that might suggest it will go on the longer route via Amberieu/Culoz/Aix-les-Bains rather than via the normal Bourgoin-Jallieu.
If it does that it will have to reverse in Lyon PD.
The usual route appears to be open for TER services, so maybe it is just retiming for engineering works.

That timing has been in place throughout 2025. I took this trip in 2024 on the 07:29. In June of this year it was 06:41. I had to get up ridiculously early and left the hotel before breakfast was available. Reversal takes place in Lyon. The route seemed to be unchanged.

Many thanks. That was my suspicion....either that or diversion via Grenoble and the Montmelian South-East curve (already done twice!).

On our last journey - on 04/04/2025 - we departed Paris at 07 30 and followed the normal route via St André-le-Gaz.

I can confirm that it reversed at Lyon in June and went through Aix-les-Bains. That was also the process/route in 2024 on an 07:29 departure.
