HD03 is working 1J76 22:32 Manchester - Shrewsbury tonight as far as Crewe instead of going back empties via Warrington, due to a shortage of 197s.

The last I heard was there will be some testing with the new DVT, AFAIK it will be ROG undertaking this.
It will then head over to Crewe and enter the B exam programme at ATC once testing is complete and its recommissioned. Hopefully it can slot in once HD04 is completed in a couple of weeks.
I'll be glad to welcome her home to Wales. AFAIK it's 82220 on it as 82204 and 82229 are stuck outside in the yard. I thought that the set was already undergoing an exam at Worksop? Does it need to have a B exam the moment she gets back?

The system still shows it in original formation but I believe its now had the DVT and TO swapped so seems likely to be 82220 and 12526 from HD08 now in HD02.
Im not an expert on that front so may be wrong but My belief on the exam front is that the exam at Worksop is essentially to enable the set to be tested and re-commisioned and back on the mainline whilst the work when it gets back to Crewe will be the 'full works' of the B exam to keep everything balanced in the exam cycle.
When are we expecting HD02 back them? Sometime this month?

No. The coaches are planned to be around for the foreseeable future with corrosion repairs and refurbishments planned to start quite soon.
Replacement for the current 67s, which are now causing the vast vast majority of the issues are being looked at but nothing guaranteed yet.
Surely TfW don't want to carry on like this? Diagrams change once or twice a week!

There's also a track defect between Pontrilas (where I currently am on 1W94) and Hereford at the moment so that will be causing issues with diagrams in addition to signalling problems earlier.

Shortage, or 197s covering the 5th Mk4 diagram?
Indeed. 197s seem a lot better recently covering most of their booked diagrams with just the occasional short form or a Sprinter covering (like a Swanline/West Wales today covered by a 150) but that one stays in Swansea all day so not a major issue.

It seems the 67s are causing the most issues rather than 197s.

Hi all,
Can anyone provide an insight as to what's expected on 1W13 and 1V50 tomorrow? AFAIK 1W13 is either HD03 or HD06 but I'm uncertain about 1V50.
