Extra services Chester to Shrewsbury?

Making a journey today from Merseyside to Aberystwyth. I noticed on apps it had a 1714 departure from Chester to Shrewsbury (departing just 22 minutes before the next scheduled service on this route) which does not appear in the May timetable booklet. I boarded it (where I am writing this post) which means I can complete my journey in an hour less than originally planned as I will now make an earlier departure from Shrewsbury. It made me look on departure boards from the whole day at Chester online and there must be 4 or 5 extra shuttles running on this line over the course of the day that are not advertised in the timetable, which to whoever doesn’t know, ususally runs hourly give or take. I’ve seen no annoucement anywhere about them, but they’re definately new. Anyone have any information?

TfW are sponsoring the television coverage so it would be odd if they hadn't also made an effort.

They would certainly know it was happening!
