91105 is carrying number 91150.

But 56045 has been renumbered on the system from 56301. “43200” is still 43060 on the system.
Purely observations for the list to aid enthusiasts on the day. Appreciate that no actual changes have been made to the system.

197120 is a no-show so can be removed.

387101 looks to be a no show also.

That's why I'm keeping both numbers (like 56045/56301). And any with D's, I've also included its TOPS if it has one.

There must be a couple more cl701s there which haven't been delivered yet. Also some cl221s being worked on. No idea on the numbers though. Hopefully forum members can advise.

What arrivals are coming today? I might go up to derby to spot some
Very few. I’m on the Pendolino railtour which arrives today. But I’m not aware of many others today. Think there is a DCR move of a 56 and 60 and that’s it.

Best days for arrivals were probably yesterday and Tuesday.

Where's Flying Scotsman coming in from? At the moment I'm assuming it's the path from the SVR as there's only one other and that's Clan Line (5Z32) from Stewart's Lane.

Yes, it's the path from Kidderminster (5Z60).

Seems to be a delay to 0859 6Z31 from Chaddesden, not left yet

Slightly surprised that neither Classes 555 or 777 are represented

I've been going through the list of everything that should be going and, unless there are some last minute paths, it looks like 197120 is a no show. (It's worked to Milford Haven this morning) and possibly no GWR IET.

D1062 also doesn't look to have made it as it's on the diesel turn on the SVR this weekend

Good news: they've updated the e-mail about bags and sent this around this morning, total removal of the reference to A4 size:

  • Footwear: No open-toe shoes or high heels. Wear comfortable footwear, it’s a big site
  • Security: Bag checks in place, bring a rucksack or tote bag that you can carry with you, 20 litres or less (excluding medication or accessibility equipment). No large bags or cases, alcohol or prohibited items
  • Mobility: Pushchairs, wheelchairs and mobility scooters are welcome, but none will be provided for rental on arrival. There are areas of the site that are unsuitable for wheeled appliances. Volunteers will be on site to direct.
  • Steam engines have hot surfaces, do not touch!
  • Children must be accompanied at all times; this is a working factory environment
  • WiFi: Not available on site
  • Hydration: Free drinking water available across the site

Is there any update on the EMR 170, 185, 360 or 222 examples that are due to attend?

Thats unfortunate, I will say i am surprised that TOCs can spare 5 different examples of Aventra but can’t spare a single example of an electrostar.

I grew up around Leamington/Warwick and still go back quite a bit, so I've spent plenty of time at Leamington.

It's not a bad place for a bit of spotting given you get trains heading up to Brum and the WCML, but if you'd told me that Sarah Siddons would spend some time in (what used to be) the old 'Stratford' sidings then get rescued by a pair of hoovers and a 46 I would've thought you were pulling my chain!

Glad I'm going on Saturday. Hopefully any teething problems with queues, etc. will have been sorted out and, as a bonus, Jeremy Vine won't be there !!

One thing is for sure, 197120 will not be attending as it is in operation today when it was supposed to go to the event yesterday

January! Apparently there is a mechanical problem with the building only affecting some rooms.
Ah... if part of the building is out of use, then it's understandable - and certainly nothing underhand going on, which some people seem to have suggested?

I was wondering because I'm booked in there as well ( it being the nearest place to the station ) and booked it in early February; I've been keeping a close eye on my inbox since you posted yesterday... but I do have an emergency back up plan of doing a very long day trip on the Saturday if necessary...

The GWR class 800 can’t go now as it’s needed in service. Same with the 197 and 387.

On their Facebook. Class 150231 is mentioned. Guessing that’s replacing 150235?

Do you think if they overbooked and are getting rid of the cheaper bookings in favour of the more expensive bookings they will actually admit to doing so?

It was raised internally when it was announced as attending, concerns raised owing to fleet shortages how they could afford to lose a 3 car on a busy summer weekend. The response was along the lines of no 197 was planned to attend but rather a 398 was and some wires had been crossed somewhere with communication.

Today we have 3 197s covering all 3 230 diagrams too so the 197 fleet is very stretched.

No, but if they're doing that it will very quickly become quite obvious won't it?

You get one as you go in each day.

150231 looks amazing!!
It sure does! Can’t wait to see it in person. Can’t be that many more trains now that’s not on site.

Someone mentioned a Voyager was there according to another BBC video on socials
