Apologies my error. I have just ridden 331019 into Lime Street!Reported as
331013 elsewhere
That wasn't Flying Scotsman, it was 50s and the 46 which are now going via Leamington to pickup Sarah Siddons.Flying Scotsman's move today, 0Q46, showing as cancelled.
Believe the 50s and 46 are 0Q45 to Leamington Spa, then 0Q50 to Derby Litchurch Lane? That wasn't Flying Scotsman, it was 50s and the 46 which are now going via Leamington to pickup Sarah Siddons.
The 68 for display is 68034 (went with 88010 yesterday). 68001+68016 are reportedly for use on the BLS shuttle services; this pair are currently allocated to today’s 6K73 flasks from Sellafield to Crewe. Some of those could be educated guesses.but no idea on the 730/0 and the 360/1.
Did a 398 get moved from Cardiff to Asfordby last week ?
The 99s will be 001 and 002 as they are the only ones in the country - maybe one will be named ?
No idea on the 68 but is there a pretty one > 004 maybe ?
Railadventure wouldn't send the undercoated pair so that mean per any two of the four which seem to be "glued" together
I guess your reference to WCR is a 57 rather than 58 so presumably somethin already on its way to Derby with exhibits. Maybe 57314 which dragged 86401 from Csrnforth for the event, and which has had it's Dellner couplers refitted.
It would be great to have over the three days participants' experiences in travelling by rail to and from - whether there was crowding on trains used, and whether the local paid (and free special) bus services carried many, and coped.
Plus how well Alstom and other parties manage the crowds, given 1100 to 1500 hours is likely to be peak visitation.
The map on the website is impressive.
An interesting observation! It is somewhat ironic that NRM-themed 91105 is going to this event, when the NRM (as far as I can see) has provided absolutely stuff-all for the Derby event.
Nkce one.50007+46045+50033 and Sarah Siddons getting ready to roll at Leamington Spa.
90018 looks like a Freightliner Grey tribute livery, like on the containers at the start of Freightliner in the BR era.Not my video, but one from YouTube showing the consist of 0M90 1141 Eastleigh Arlington (Zg) to Derby Litchurch Lane.
Loco's are 66501, 90018, 70008, 57604 and 59201. 90018 looks smart in its new livery!
Very interesting. Shame I can't pop over to Tamworth later to see it.Not my video, but one from YouTube showing the consist of 0M90 1141 Eastleigh Arlington (Zg) to Derby Litchurch Lane.

Now seemingly gone into Tyseley depot.Nkce one.Certainly one of the more interesting convoys I've seen photographed.
Travelling by train to the event will be like going to a lower championship level football match: trains will be busy but perfectly fine. Local police and train operators are used to dealing with this sort of thing. It would be great to have over the three days participants' experiences in travelling by rail to and from - whether there was crowding on trains used, and whether the local paid (and free special) bus services carried many, and coped.
People need to treat this like a festival and allow time to get in. This isn't a random depot open day in 18986Plus how well Alstom and other parties manage the crowds, given 1100 to 1500 hours is likely to be peak visitation.
Really? I can see that 0Z73 with a 91 being dragged has just entered Litchurch Lane! It’s a right mess at the moment.
There’s not enough space to get everything where it needs to be in Derby.
The 59/90/66/57 combo is being held because there isn’t enough room to accept it right now.
They need to get some stuff moved in Derby pronto
After having sat outside for over two hoursReally? I can see that 0Z73 with a 91 being dragged has just entered Litchurch Lane!
