It depends what their security process is like. At most high profile music concerts these days, each ticket has the name of the purchaser printed on it. In order to get into the venue you have to present both the ticket and photo ID that shows you are indeed the person whose name is printed on the ticket. But then I imagine the likes of Taylor Swift have a bit more money to spend on hiring security staff than Litchurch Lane! But I wouldn't be risking it. Best bet now would be either the Pathfinder or UK Railtours charters.
Some concerts don't even have tickets. Last time I saw Iron Maiden you had the card used to buy the tickets scanned in a little machine and you got a receipt. There were printed tickets for anyone whose card had expired and been replaced but they were relatively few.

I wonder if it'll be done using QR codes like GETS and Model World Live have been doing.

I’ll be arriving at 11ish because of trains from where I am and I’m a bit concerned I won’t see it all. How big is the actual site and how long is recommended to spend going around the event?

Tickets for the timed attractions can now be booked.
Booked. That is, those that a) we've not already done (i.e. a trip on the Elizabeth line), and that b) we can afford. While a class 93 cab ride might be fun, it's a bit prohibitive for a family of 4. At that price I'd want to take the class 93 home with me.

And we've already booked a visit to the Inspiration Train at NRM in a few weeks' time.

Yes, I baulked at the price, too. Clearly some demand though as some slots have already sold...

Looks like the HS2 interior slots are going quickly - already limited availability on Friday and Saturday, with some slots nearly sold out.

I've heard 5Q88 Eastleigh to Litchurch Lane with 57604 has been cancelled
47739 was cancelled to Eastleigh and hence no return . Could this train actually be the 701 unit?

Size wise the Alstom site is said to be around 90 acres, a typical football pitch is approximately 1.6 if that helps?

I'd have thought 5 hours would cover it

HS2 interior mock-ups now sold out, quite bad considering that they didn't tell us when it would come out today and that I couldn't even get online until 5 minutes ago (Too late for Friday unfortunately)

I don't think they're on sale yet. It doesn't say sold out so they've just not activated it I don't think

I've watched them sell out in real-time. Looks like they were very popular and/or had limited capacity.

Just heard from discord that it's a seetickets issue and nothings sold out, so might be worth trying again

The page with the links for the various tickets has now been manually edited to show that the HS2 mock-up is now sold out…

I'm still hopeful of a excellent event... ...however I'm not going to lie all this booking of tickets for sub-events just feels like such a faff. Whilst it will improve the experience for those who were online at just the right time to book them, mugs like myself have only just had a chance to book them and now can barely get a thing.

Also very disappointed that some days now appear to be better than others with some events only running on that day but there was no information at the time of booking.

Coupled to the tiny bag stuff for people who are expecting to walk around all day outside vs an inside sit down concert / football match coming out and a lot of the other event information just coming out now it feels like it's all being rushed together at the last minute.
