I'll be interested to see the first/standard split on these, given that for a while Virgin operated that bizarre Standard Class as First Class scheme on North Wales services. Given they won't be doing Anglo-Scottish work perhaps a greater % first class.

So it really is just a paper exercise for the most part
They are running Liverpool - London, with just 2 coaches of 1st class (of 7) but one of those is Standard Plus (or whatever they call it).

I spotted the final Evero at Stafford, and then again soon after moving through Crewe earlier today, still doing its mileage checks I believe. Wanted to share a couple of images here.

807010 'Together we Roll' **should** enter passenger service on Thursday 24th July, working 1F12 the 07:41 Euston to Liverpool service.
Path from RTT below
Excellent, I'm looking forward to hopefully grabbing a few photos of '010 when I'm next in Liverpool.

Of the 21 Avanti services from Liverpool to Euston today, RTT shows 4 being operated by 11-car 390s, another 4 by 9-car 390s, with the balance of 13 being 807s.

All 12 Chester-Euston services (some originating in Holyhead/Wrexham) are booked for 805s (6 of them booked for double sets).
There are also 6 Euston-Birmingham services down for 807s, and 3 with 10-car 805s.

I am pleased to see that full rollout of the Evero fleet is now complete. With any luck could this possibly mean that from December we will finally see the implementation of the Liverpool South Parkway calling point on the xx:43 paths to and from London Euston since it's unlikely to require a Pendolino to substitute these services?

807010 south of Bletchley on its first day of service and I can't believe the timing of the Class 350...

Was that not one of the key considerations with the 807s?

For them to be able to serve South Parkway

Indeed it was, but I don't want to be too presumptive since there is no confirmed timetable changes from December, but since all 807s are now ready for operation I don't see why the South Parkway stop can't be included in the next change and for all the xx:43 paths to be an 807. Surely if there aren't enough then that would have been a consideration in the original order?

The only reason I could see for not including the stop is if the timetable doesn't have the time for both the 110mph restriction and a South Parkway stop, in which case it would make sense to wait with introducing the South Parkway calls until the 110mph restriction is lifted/resolved

If that's the case then it might be a while since the Multiple Unit boards are slowly being unveiled in phases. Perhaps we'll have to wait and see the full details of the December timetable.

To be clear, I don't know if that's the case, but it seems like a distinct possibility.

I was not only referring to the MU speed profile, but also to the ORR decision that Avanti trains without TASS can't exceed 110mph.

Hopefully it wont take too long for the MU Boards to be introduced then but I'm not getting my hopes up.

I thought the South Parkway stop was already accounted for in the current :43 timings anyways but I guess not.

The South Parkway stop is accounted for in the XX43 timings, but at the moment it's just an extra allowance. Whilst the PS speed limitation is in place, they'll want all the allowances they can get to run as close to time as possible.

My understanding was the timing for the :43 services already included the Liverpool South Parkway stop, but that they were also based on the MU profile being usable by the trains, which it isn't quite yet. So potentially the one could balance the other out.

I'm slightly surprised at that actually seeing as Network Rail are have been trialling the idea of 125 on the WCML without tilt for a few years now. Granted on the northern part rather than the busy southern section, but still interesting. I would have thought TASS was already accounted for.

If memory serves, it is the (lack of the) speed supervision part of TASS the ORR objects/objected to, not the lack of tilting capability.

We'll have to wait and see how this pans out then. Either way, it's nice to finally see the full rollout of the 805s and 807s, I just hope it means Avanti can get the most they can out of them, part of which hopefully includes a full 2tph to and from Liverpool eventually.

Absolutely! I'll probably try and time myself onto the 807 services next time I'm heading to/from Liverpool

I think the only 80x serving Blackpool in the current timetable is the early up 805
This arrives ECS from Crewe and combines with a Holyhead unit at Crewe, and then stays on the Chester/North Wales run.
The return train to Blackpool in the evening, and a mid-day return working, are 390s.
So no 807s.

I am puzzled by the fact that Avanti have all their trains now, and I thought that all the Birmingham-Glasgows had been restored (since they terminated at Preston in Covid times, I think.)

However this Saturday the 0907 and 1307 both go to Blackpool, making long-distance travellers from the W Midlands and stations to Warrington - and people connecting in at those stations - wait for the fast service from Euston 50 minutes later - as that is of course the hour that TPE serves Edinburgh, normally dovetailing with the Avanti Brum-Glasgow.

What justification is there for this disruption to the otherwise regular-interval service from the Midlands to Scotland? Is it just to save a couple of traincrew turns out in the provinces? I guess the management wouldn't care about the consequences of that...

Thought the 807's were going to be used on Euston-Blackpool services, as well as Euston-Liverpool and Euston-Birmingham/Wolverhampton.
