Sadly I mean powered trains as opposed to coaches. That being said you would probably be right, especially if you include all the Mk1-derived MUs.Mk1 hauled stock likely had more.
Class 47? Some individual locos carried nearly 20 different liveries, let alone the class as a whole.Sadly I mean powered trains as opposed to coaches. That being said you would probably be right, especially if you include all the Mk1-derived MUs.
The Feb 2005 issue of Railway Magazine contains part 8 (!) of the class 47/57 livery history. Admittedly this went down to a very anal level of detail (including position of numbers etc), but it reached photo (and therefore livery variant) no 253.Class 47? Still I think it illustrates the point well enough! The Feb 2005 issue of Railway Magazine contains part 8 (!) of the class 47/57 livery history. Admittedly this went down to a very anal level of detail (including position of numbers etc), but it reached photo (and therefore livery variant) no 253.
Certainly some individual power cars have carried about 6 or 7 liveries alone, but the class as a whole has had far more than that.Class 43 must've had a fair few liveries
does anyone know what livery the Nigerian HSTs will get?Certainly some individual power cars have carried about 6 or 7 liveries alone, but the class as a whole has had far more than that.
Some power cars are plain white, some white with a red band.does anyone know what livery the Nigerian HSTs will get?
150/1 didn't receive Network North West livery, it was only on a handful of 150/2, however they did receive the Greater Manchester PTE livery of two-tone grey. When you look at the150/1 it is probably easy to forget some.
1. Provincial (light blue top)
2. Provincial (sprinter)
3. Centro
4. Network North West
5. First North West (blue with stars)
6 silverlink.
7. Northern (that could have a few versions)
8. First Great Western

Which is less then I would have expected them you look at trains like the 156 which have moved around (same is true with 170s)

The 142s will have lots because of all the PTA liveries. The 158s and170s because of the number of operators that have use them.
150/2 will presumably beat the 150/1 hands down, though. And anyway - the class is 150 so both count (+ the NMT!)When you look at the150/1 it is probably easy to forget some.

What does the NMT have to do with 150s?! The NMT is a former HST set.150/2 will presumably beat the 150/1 hands down, though. And anyway - the class is 150 so both count (+ the NMT!)
thick grey stripe, thin red stripe, rest of body canary yellow? Did it have "Infrastructure" branding of any sort or was that just the 31?39. Bright Yellow (47 803?)
