Question prompted by this combination of screenshots. Not displaying on that screen are the cancellations of the 15.10 and 16.10 to Temple Meads and the 15.41 to Cardiff.
At least from the perspective of Bath Spa (I doubt it is unique) this has gone beyond “minor disruption”, let alone “a good service”. I’m sure that every delay/ cancellation is justified but how can anyone in authority at GWR have the gall to describe this as a “good service”?
(My own definition of that would be all trains in the next three hours running and expected within 5 minutes of right time - anything less than that is “minor disruption’ at best)
