Any examples of solid gates across railway lines in the UK?

Some of you may have seen the gates across the railway line at the Vatican (as in the photo below). Are there other examples of solid gates like these, rather than more flimsy-looking(!) gates, like those on private sidings in the UK?

There probably stil are a few. Gates of this level of solidity were quite common at establishments such as naval dockyards, army depots and other locations with a higher than normal requirement for security. And there were some factories and the like where the owner wanted them for one reason or another.

The flood gates installed on those Underground lines going beneath the Thames during WW2, in case the under-river tunnels were breached by bombs? Doubt they are still there however, and if they are, probably not useable!

I was wondering whether these are ever tested or stuck in situ out of use.

Several of them have appeared on Hidden London Hangouts videos in various states of disrepair, but I don't believe any are still operational.
