What was wrong at Foxton LC this afternoon?

We have discussed the management of Foxton LC in the past but today hit a new low. OH waited for over an hour to get across and eventually gave up. Is this the new future for traffic on the A10?

I went through at about 6.45, police were redirecting people via a diversion. I heard it was a track circuit failure. Caused some minor delays for trains but appeared to not cause any substantial delays.
Queue was pretty small when I was there, but didn't move initially. Got through in about 4 minutes or so.

Thanks. Maybe it was just bad luck then. On RTT it looks as though there was a period when all the up trains were mostly to time but the downs were consistently 10 or more late, maybe as a result of working round the track circuit failure, or maybe sthg else entirely. But with 12 trains an hour it's very much a weak spot from the road user's point of view, usually I go to London via Wimpole and the water tower but OH prefers the A10/A505.

On plain line, a single track circuit failure will typically only affect one line.
