Thameslink - abolition of super off peak during weekdays

Anyone know a workaround for super off peak fares that Thameslink have abolished for London terminals to Bedford?

Price has gone up from approx £14 super off peak day return to £30 off peak return... With Railcard . Not ideal, almost doubled and very unaffordable.

The link only refers to weekday super off peak fares being withdrawn on the Great Northern route.

The super off peak from London to Bedford is a weekend only ticket.

As JonathanH says this never existed for weekdays.

You mention a railcard, the off peak day return is £20.90. It's the month return that's £31.60.

Note there is no Super Off Peak Day Return from London to Bedford on weekdays but the Off Peak Day Return from London to Bedford is the same price as the Super Off Peak Day Return from Bedford to London.
