Restaurants with table service on active GB stations

Corbridge's other USP is that its restaurant is served by trains. At least according to perception - there's the Curry Train from Newcastle Central which takes the punters direct to the restaurant, and returns them at the end of the evening. According to their marketing the service is The Passage to India - in reality a timetabled 156 shared with commuters, but "staffed" by a costumed waiter with a coolbox, nervously keeping an eye on things.

That sounds fun! There should be more unofficial tie ins like this!

As has been mentioned previously on the forum: “Our trained, smartly dressed staff will greet you at the station, at 5.30pm under the clock. They will welcome you and your guests and escort you by train to The Valley at Corbridge. The orders are taken on the train from our full à la Carte menu and will be ready on your arrival. Drinks are served on the train”.

Yes....although that at Corrour is not actually on the station, but just outside. The former station building and signalbox on the island platform are now a B & B, run by the same people who have the new-build Station House Restaurant.
