Queens Park Mainline

Have my eyes deceived me or has the main line platform been relaid? For what purpose?

The mainline platforms were never removed in the first place. They've just been sitting in a state of disrepair with no services calling at them.

Unless something has happened in the past month since I went to queen's park station I doubt anything has changed.

The Down Slow platform looked pretty derelict last time I saw it.

Well there have been orange people on them for at least a month and they seem to be rebuilding/shoring up the sides with stone/blocks. So something is afoot.

They aren't coming back into use.

It was repairs to the brickwork as the structure was at risk of falling onto the Up Fast Line.
