Sadly ChatGPT isn't so easily fooled. I tried asking it about Pacers from Waterloo and it would have nothing of it.
Have you tried Marylebone or Paddington? I'm pretty sure that one was exhibited at Marylebone, and one of Exeter's finest made it some distance towards London (possibly as far as Swindon) when covering for a failed HST.

Temu sell a range of railway themed cushion covers, the images on which I presume are AI generated. Superficially they do look like classic British railway oil paintings, but they are just so wrong, almost nightmarish. The AI doesn’t always seem to know that track has two rails, that diesel locos don’t emit clouds of steam, etc. Examples linked below

I can't see those - it insists on a sign in or registration.

So where does Trainline's AI stand?
Perhaps you should ask the question to your retail team? I don’t see how customers could be penalised for following the explicit advise of an authorised retailer, even if it is via AI.

That only official sources should be used.
Which is understandable.

What happens next is that someone evidences that an AI enhanced search engine found the result whilst crawling long forgotten dead-link or archived Corporate announcement, but still technically a published official source, from one of the UK TOCs.

Does it? Can you search without registering? If, so just search for “class 37 cover”. Because we all know that all AI generated British locos are Class 37s. Or try “British Rail cover”.

Example “Rusty Class 37 Locomotive Print Cushion Cover, 45.72x45.72 cm”

Thanks, and no - it wouldn't let me in at all. It was the same sort of "you must log in" screen that I often see when people post Facecrook links.

That picture... Oh good grief!

About the only thing it got right was the "rusty" aspect...!

It’s an annoying new trend that websites are requiring registration just to look at their wares. Facebook and Twitter X are useless now unless you subscribe (and get spied on).

Don’t have nightmares…

Too many tracks isn't ideal. But it's not bad.

It doesn't require registration, you just need to start from the home page to pass the "are you human" check, then you can click on these links.

Not thinking about this thread, a few minutes ago I typed "Sound of Metadyne train" into Google. Up came an "AI overview" which told me that this is a specific type of EMU used on the Piccadilly Line, which are known for their distinctive high-pitched whine under acceleration. The accompanying picture shows S stock, which would have some difficulty negotiating Piccadilly Line tunnels. Interesting....

Buy a ticket from Waterloo to Guildford and it'll book you on a 12-car Pacer formation.
I'm booking it straight away.

If it isn't a Pacer, I'm going to demand a refund from Trainline.

I hope I can book a Class 91 to Guildford on Trainline too. Blunt end first. No Mk4 set.
