T.Es, what is a probable take home pay ?

Hi,
any of you got any idea of the kind of take home pay a T.E could expect ?.
I realise this is subjective to what line you are on, but say on average with maybe a couple of overtimes thrown in what would you be looking at.

If you're at Ayr, then expect 13-1500 every 4 weeks, a little more with rest day working. Good commission at Ayr.

It's not so much overtime rate as a minimum payment for rest day working, I cannot remember exactly the minimum payment for TE's, but it is around 90 quid or so, obviously if the rostered hours exceed the figure, then you get that instead. Remember also, that Sundays are treated as overtime, though the minimum payment is the same for normal rest day working. Didn't know the TE's had got their 4 day week yet, I thought there were still some single rest day weeks. Anyway, plus commision, it is a good job you've earned mate.

Not really, busy outer suburban line, loads of punters all day at most stations, the airport being extremely busy at times. The trains are almost as busy, if not busier at times than the E&G. Though admittedly less frequency to be honest. Used to take a fortune off them, and Largs also.
