I have a standard class flex ticket on LNER. So allows me to take an earlier or later train up to 70 minutes of the stated time on the ticket

How does a seat frog work with this? Would the upgrade only be valid on the train stated on the flex ticket or does the upgrade move because its a flex ticket

Only on the original service:

You can upgrade on your new train. Please keep in mind that upgrades aren't eligible to be swapped so if you upgraded on your original service, you won't be able to transfer this to your new train.

Isn't that in the context of Seatfrog's train swap, as opposed to the LNER flex tickets being valid on multiple trains?
I thought the OP was asking if a Seatfrog upgrade transferred?

A Seatfrog upgrade is tied to the particular train it is issued for. During disruption, you may be able to use it on other services of the same TOC at the staff's discretion.

Just like if you get an Anytime ticket and a Seatfrog, you can't then just use that Seatfrog on any train.
