The standard timetable has an hourly ICE/IC/EC down the Rhine. Before the Dec 2024 timetable change it was 2 'fasts' per hour for most of the day.

Are the Swiss services the only long distance services down the Rhine? I didnt notice any ICE or IC services south of Bonn.

There’s also the once per two hours ICE Dortmund to Vienna service, once per two hours IC/ICE Dresden to Stuttgart (via Hannover) service and various other marginal services.

I can't find any direct Dortmund to Vienna services except one at 0835 and one at 1235 weekdays. Are there others?

The core service now appears to be 2-hourly Frankfurt-Mainz-Köln and 2-hourly Mannheim-Mainz-Köln-Hannover...- destinations either end are varied, particularly on the Frankfurt route.
