Rapido's dia 801 Blue Spot vans are lovely looking models.
Too "recent" for me; however, I have one of Rapido's - yet to be shipped - GNR dia 113 vans, insulated variant, on order.

Just spent £140 on a website called Olivia's Trains. I bought 2 products ( 2 in stock) and somehow I've managed to buy a Further 2 of the same product.

I bought the plain blue VTG tipplers 2 pack extracted from a train set. So 4 lots of 2, 8 wagons in total , £15 per wagon (plus I added £10 weathering for some),.

No idea on the build quality but I assume it's the same as the Lima yeoman ones I already have.

Leaving the TXS sound ones then, I have instead purchased Hornby green class 73s E6002 and E6003. May get them weathered at some point but they look nice as they are. One has older style coupler, the other has removable NEM tension hooks. One has no traction tyres strangely, so less grip with loads but still works ok.
The motors are the same so hopefully, couplers will be friendly to eachother and allow for double head operating.

My Dapol class 73 has an HM7000 in it. Works really well, although I'll be putting a better speaker in it once I replace my 8 ohm Accurathrash speaker with a 4 ohm one in my 31. Apparently ESU Loksounds work better with 4 ohm.

The 73s run fine although I tried to change the body shell on one (R2517, E6003) over to an NEM pocket variant (R3045), I don't know If the earlier model body shell comes off as easy? It seems locked in a lot better than my other 73s.

Either way I want to change the shells round so that both my green ones have the same couplers so I can put some kadee tightlock couplers between the and run them in pairs.

Finally picked up a reasonably priced kit for a diagram 3093 SR/BR(S) 50' Bogie Brake ("Van B" - it's Ratio kit 592) which arrived today - have been looking for a cheap one on eBay for a while and this was about half the new price, and is all complete. A remarkably complex kit and comes with many etches, white metal components, and even some pressfix transfers (though not quite all of them looking at contemporary photos).

The order from Olivia's trains has come with 8 wagons (4 weathered) for £140.
Took advantage of their railroad tippler offer of 2 wagons for £30. Unfortunately two of the boxes weren't in stock so they happily changed them to Cappagh ones at their expense.

Chose their "medium" weathering out of light medium or heavy. The wagons have an overall darkening of their blue colour as seen in the photos, plus bogie and solebar dirt and rust.

Obviously I didn't specify any specific weathering details so am happy with the results, but users may rather have chalky weathering on the upper edges or whatever depending on their loads.

Given the models are plastic, the factory / pristine blue makes the model look really cheap and boring. The weathering IMO has added realism and is much better.

Overall happy given the charge should have actually been £10 per wagon but as the product was a double set I got two wagons weathered for the price of one.

That weathering really does make a huge difference to the look of the models, well worth the modest extra cost

I have the GWR one, I find its couplings are a bit dodgy on curves but otherwise I really like it. Not a DCC user though!

The Coalfish has been made by Hornby and Accurascale. Hornby having two attempts with a 2003 model being quickly replaced by a retooled model in 2004 stated in Ramsays British Model Trains Catalogue as having a more accurate body with reduced height, additional end ribs and an angled top rib. The 2003 models best avoided being all in EWS livery -394119 (R6216) and 394120-3914122 (triple pack R6225).
Accurascale released there model in 2022.

Thanks they just look very chunky and unrealistic. £33 wasn't too bad for them I guess. Mistake as I thought the ones I already had were the same.

Rule 1 definitely, but such use was not uncommon particularly on secondary routes where even partial Mk1 introduction took some time.

A mid 1960s scene, with cascaded stock to the ScR, it looks fine. They didn't last into the TOPS era; I spy 27001

A few Bulleid Third Opens were sent to Scotland in the 1960s and, painted maroon, operated on secondary services.
RM Web has a thread on it and mentions the actual carriages involved.

Yes - the Bulleids landed up with the somewhat odd Sc prefixes and S suffix numbers, and there were also some with E/S numbering.
