Gypsy Lane station temporarily closed (16/05)

It seems Gypsy Lane station in Middlesbrough is temporarily closed for emergency repairs on the platform. Fortunately for passengers that Nunthorpe station is very close by

Cancellations to services at Gypsy Lane​

Due to a problem with platform equipment at Gypsy Lane all lines are disrupted.
How does it affect your service:
Train services running through this station will be cancelled. Disruption is expected until 16:45 16/05.
Our advice to our customers:
Services between Middlesbrough and Nunthorpe are currently unable to call at Gypsy Lane.
Network Rail are on site now.
Effect on service:
Train services are unable to call at Gypsy Lane (in both directions).

First services affected:
09:40 Newcastle to Nunthorpe will not call at Gypsy Lane
Alternative travel suggestions:
Passengers are advised to please use the below road transport.
Any ticket restrictions have been lifted during this disruption.
Road replacement transport:
Road replacement transport has been requested to operate between Marton & Nunthorpe. More information will follow once confirmed.
Please see station information posters for bus pick up points.
Road transport provided by E Travel
11:15 Marton - Gypsy Lane - Nunthorpe then XX:15 (quarter past each hour)
11:40 Nunthorpe - Gypsy Lane - Marton the XX:40 (twenty to each hour)
Journey times may be extended by up to 15 minutes whilst travelling by Rail Replacement transport.
We apologise for the delay to these services and the additional time this may add to your journey today.

There's probably a few more in the area that must be getting close, they're essentially thick plywood surfaces.
A quick trip down B&Q should sort it.
Well that's what they did to Redcar East when a bit of that fell apart! A bit of wood with felt on it appeared filling in the bit of platform surface that had rotted through. As long as it's just a knackered board it'll be open again before too long.

A quick trip down B&Q should sort it.
They tried a quick temporary fix yesterday, it didn't work.

As far as I'm aware trains are now calling again since mid afternoon using an alternative method of work.
