Isle of Man trip planner

I'll be attending the Manx Heritage Transport Festival this year, arriving on the 21st of July and leaving on the 28th. However, trip planning is rather difficult because Google Maps has no data on transport schedules on the Isle of Man, let alone the locations of any bus stop. The closest I can find to a trip planner is Bus Vannin's Find My Bus which only shows the live location of each bus and train. Are there any better alternatives to the above and manually reading each schedule?

That's what I was referring to at the end of my last sentence I'm afraid.

bustimes.org has the bus stops

findmybus.im has the stops if you zoom in far enough, although it doesn’t have live tracking for a specific stop.



The network map is pretty accurate at marking the roads that the buses go down, so between the network map and findmybus.im you can work out when your bus is coming.

For journey planning you will need to use the timetable. This isn’t as bad as it sounds, as paper copies of the timetable booklet are freely available. It’s also a relatively uncomplicated network here, once you look beyond the bizarre route numbers- 3bph Derby Castle-Douglas-Airport-Castletown-Port Erin, 2bph Douglas-Peel and Douglas-Laxey-Ramsey, and 1bph Peel-Ramsey.
