@Bob Price, is the clock an hour slow on your camera (presumably smartphone by the file name format)? The timestamp is 1215, but on Realtime Trains, I can't find the train at Taffs Well at 1215, but I can find it at Taffs Well exactly one hour later at 1315.

The filename will be based on UTC (Coordinated Universal Time), but our local time is now BST, which is an hour ahead.
Timestamps in Google Pixel phone camera photograph names are GMT/UTC regardless of what the clock shows.

The video was far far far too large for here, so hopefully this links to my Google drive works... This is a class 398 heading from the aberdare/Merthyr lines into pontypridd

Once they revert back to full grey fronts they actually look really good units.

I think the fronts would actually look better in red, but grey is better than yellow!
Yeah, lead to believe yellow is until the lights get made to correct spec? As in they don’t meet latest standard to have no yellow front.

Not my video. 398028 passing through Ystrad Rhondda on the 25/9/25, on 3Q05 1357 Treherbert to Taffs Well Depot and 3Q06 1502 Taffs Well Depot to Treherbert ("coming" and "going" shots), and on 3Q04 1302 Taffs Well Depot to Treherbert ("coming" shot only).

What surprised me is actually how big the 398s are, compared to the 756.
