Southern and Gatwick Express are offering fixed rate cashback for online purchases.

£2.52 for any tickets purchased from Southern's site purchased via TopCashBack

£3.03 for tickets purchased for Gatwick Express via TopCashBack

No mention of a minimum purchase value or maximum number of times you can get cashback.

I wonder if that is a typo and really means 2.52%?

I normally use SWT for walk up tickets as that gives 2.62% cashback. Even if Southern really is 2.52% it may still be preferable to SWT as you can benefit from the Rainy Day Guarantee.

I can confirm that it's £3 for Gatwick Express. It got paid into my account the other day!

If you go into your account page, then click the 'earnings' tab, the transaction for your rail tickets will usually appear within 48 hours.

Within weeks (or months!), the transaction will be confirmed by Southern and within further weeks (or months!) Southern will pay out on the transaction which at that point you are allowed to select a payment option.

It's worth bearing in mind that no cash back is 100% guaranteed, but there are options to chase it up if it doesn't appear on your account within two weeks.

It's a long process (You could wait up to 6 months for the money), but definitely worth it- albeit with the wait. You will find yourself routinely clicking through Topcashback when you shop online, it all adds up.

SWT look to have withdrawn their cashback offer now. They've still not paid out for a journey I made months ago, although the transaction does appear as confirmed.

If you mean how long has Southern been on TopCashBack - not long as the oldest review was posted a few days ago.
