Hello there will be several large groups of enthusiasts in the Gt Yarmouth area doing the BLS tour on the 3rd of May, we will all be at a loose end on the Sunday morning, the railway has a diesel loco shown as working but would anyone know if its a ex BR loco or some industrial thing I've asked the question on face faceache just wondering if anyone knows on here, obviously if there is more than one loco out so much the better

I think they have also run the 08 at times too?

Weirdly I was looking at visiting on the Monday albeit I read that there is no connecting bus service from Braintree on bank holidays?

Edit - the 08 is 08706 which went to the CVR from Shackerstone

The CVR isn’t exactly near Great Yarmouth - I think you need at least three different trains to get there?

Yes but if you think where people are travelling from to get to Gt Yarmouth, it is south west roughly south west from Yarmouth, I'm going up from Devon Friday to get there it's definitely on the way home for me and I'm sure a great many other's
