I get that, but I’m asking when in the 3 year apprenticeship with Northern do you become a qualified driver? After 1 year? 2? 3?
You’re classed as qualified when you pass your Final assessment, which depot dependent is between 7-12 months

Hello everyone. My application for trainee train driver has been successful and I have an assessment day coming up. It's going to be at my local station I applied for and outlined in the email is how the day will progress.
The email states the day will split into 3 stages:
•2 group tasks demonstrating communication, problem solving and observation skills.
•If successful you will move onto 3rd group task.
•If successful in these stages you will go through to interview on the same day.

Just wondering if anyone can advise me what the first 3 stages are as it mentions nothing about tests such as psychometric ect?
