West Coastway Temporary Speed Restrictions

A load of these have sprung up between Angermering and just after Chichester station on the Westbound line (apologies don’t know if that is Up or Down, probably Down?).

Not such an issue on the xx:13 departures from Brighton as they tend to wait opposite Warblington school playing fields waiting for the Portsmouth Direct service to cross ahead but the time lost on the xx:43 ones extinguishes the very faint hope that I can connect with the London Victoria train at Havant, some alacrity and a modest delay in that service is often required

Any information on these and how long they may be in place?

You're right, Westbound is the 'down line'

The 2 x 20 mph restrictions at Roundstone LC and near Ford are both due off in the next week. Rail / Track defects respectively discovered last week.

A 50mph came on this morning near Chichester, no plan for that yet, but that won’t cause much delay.
