And even those who don't... What is the point in these? "Please don't skid into the back of my car?". Oh I was just going to look at that bit of skirt over there, not realise you have stopped and skid into you, seriously damaging both cars and injuring us both, but due to that sticker I won't....

Is it more to say "look at me I'm clever I have made a baby" or "yes I'm dead sexy but you can't have me, I'm taken" or indeed is it to say "MILF alert boys" (is there a 'FILF' equivalent?!) BANG CRUMP... agh just driven into you while pondering.

The point is so that when you're in a crash, the rescue workers know to look for a child (who might not be immediately visible), before they go off and start on other vehicles or doing something else.

Leaving one in your car when you don't have a child in it thus risks wasting precious time in the event of an accident, which could lead to a real casualty not being reached in time.

As well as making you look like a smug fool, of course.

As for me: Tories, beetroot and threads full of bile.

Believe me, Rahs dont just exist in those areas, we have them up here in Newcastle and many other places I've visited recently, such as York. If they aren't Rahs (or Rah-Rahs as we say) then they are plastic Rahs which is even worse!

We have a growth of 'Weekend Millionaire's' that have cropped up in the last few years in Newcastle, if anyone has seen Geordie Shore you'll know what I mean!

All girls are Princesses in waiting and the lads have more make up/fake tans than the girls! Anyone back me up here?

Add these things to my Hate list!

Oh yes, plenty on my course at leeds. Could easily punch some of them. Some are very nice though :P

That's true, especially the female ones :P . Although hearing a girl talk about how 'AMAZEE' the newest episode of The Only Way is Essex or discussing Jack Wills' newest range is a right turn off.

'Rahs' can be found in any university town and city, especially at universities which tend to accept Oxford rejects, such as Durham and Exeter. In Exeter the majority of the male 'rahs' tend to wear tracksuit bottoms (usually from Jack Wills), gillets and sandals! They're usually considered to be typical of Exeter students which isn't true at all!

Yes, I agree that Geordie Shore presents a completely implausible ideal of what the average Geordie is like. I've also met a few people from Essex who absolutely hate The Only Way is Essex simply because according to that show, anyone who is young, female and from Essex is obsessed with a fake tan, snabbing a boyfriend who's a premiership footballer or a nightclub promoter and getting a 'Vajazzle' (Google it, turns out there are companies which offer them!)

It's almost like a uniform and they seem to be increasing in numbers. Last time I went up the uni (to collect tickets for the Murderdolls gig) most of the visible students were 'rahs'. Oh and some seem to have started wearing 'fraternity' shirts and ties)

I hate the fact that there are only three lanes at the swimming pool rather than four.

The slow lane is full of women swimming two abreast having a conversation and trying not to get their hair wet.

The fast lane is full of "proper" swimmers doing a Rebecca Adlington.

Which leaves the middle lane jammed full of people like me who are too slow for the fast lane, but too fast for the slow lane :)

I also hate this sign, I'm not sure if I find it amusing, ironic, quirky, depressing or just plain incompetent :) (tsk... lack of standards... mutter mutter...)

In my day, this sort of thing was reserved for the port side of the funnels of Sealink ferries.

The home of the concrete cow
Cyclists on the phone.
Cyclists with no lights or even reflectors in the dark.
Cyclists with no reflective or light-coloured clothing in the dark.
Cyclists who go the wrong way down one-way streets or through No Entry signs (I very nearly caused two of them some very serious injuries).

People who think they know right, and are quite happy to flout rules or even laws because it suits them.

I wouldn't have realised!
I don't like him either, he just irritates the hell out of me for some reason.

Possibly the most irritating thing about him is I can't quite put my finger on why he annoys me so much, he just does.

Anyone else noticed this seem a lot more common that it used to be, even as recently as ten years ago.

I tend to see them as candidates for the Darwin Awards <D

The 2 women they have making decisions at East Coast. They come out with stupid things, and do not have the railway at heart. "EC does not want to run to Inverness". No, actually its you that doesnt want them to run to Inverness. Tell the truth. God knows what Adonis was thinking of putting her in charge. Does he fancy her or something?

The Labour Party and the long term damage they've done to dear old Blighty which they'll never have the wit or the guts to apologise for,
Selfishness,
People who don't look where they're going when using their mobile phones or ipods when crossing the road (or in some cases, railway foot crossings) in front of you,
Lack of lane discipline on our roads,
People who don't know how wide their big German cars are,
Most chart music,
Great swathes of TV programmes with constant pointless loud music,
TV execs and producers who churn out the above,
The general lack of manners these days,
Flies,
Bach ache,
That spineless grinning b*stard Blair and the fact that my taxes go to pay for his and his families security.

Time for a brew ;)

Went to Walkabout with a few mates a couple of weeks ago, and I could hear what sounded like a herd of elephants having a rave upstairs. Turned out it was a rugby club social :P I also noticed that everyone at that social was wearing chinos, identical ties and identical shirts!

Oh, and a few more pet hates:

Those who believe religion and politics go together: this includes the Christian right, Islamists and Jewish religious extremists
Jehovah's Witnesses
McDonalds
The lack of cycle parking facilities in Exeter city centre
The lack of seats in Exeter University library
The far right
The far left
Artists who make music for the lowest common denominator to enjoy mainstream success. Artists guilty of this include David Guetta, Nelly Furtado and Pitbull.

I think the refurb was alright. I do agree with most of the above, and also people who don't get the concept that sometimes someone behind them is in more of a rush than they are!

Autotuned rubbish with a chorus effect on the voice making everything sound "buzzy"

The Sun, Sky News, Rupert Murdoch

Track circuit issues in the Stafford area making me late home for pie and chips.

Adele

People who don't say please and thank you.

Those chavs who keep sitting on the wall outside my place and the inaction of the police despite phone calls most nights as said chavs are peeking through car windows in a shifty manner.

Chavs in general and those who defend them as "the working class" - they're benefit class if anything.

The Daily Mail

The constant battle between "phones give you cancer" and "no they don't"

The Labour party for selling Britain short. The banking sector being irresponsible with money.

People who moan, whoever is in power. Takes balls to do what our government are doing, cuts wise and Labour would have done the same.

Being stuck behind a stopper on a fast service.

My ex and group of "friends" who didn't help me at my darkest hour.

The fact that this list is so long and I still have so much more.

TV licensing - I don't own a TV. Stop sending me nasty letters and just visit so I can prove it!

Awful dross on TV. There's a reason I don't own one and elect to watch only certain shows (only Luther and the Apprentice when visiting relatives) in a week.

Well, no more. I'd never get finished.

It's not that bad!

True, however considering that the stripped them to the bare floor and walls, took all the seats out, totally reupholstered and restuffed. They should have spent those extra pennies to make them rival their excellent 158's

I must say, I think she has a rather distinctive voice. Though whether or not that distinction is for better or worse is an entirely different matter. Personally, I rather like her music. :p
