It is usually the first one or two in any type that get way-laid for a lot of testing. Type testing is a phrase that seems to be used.None of the 805 or 807 went abroad or for climate testing.
805001 had no interior fitted when testing, I think (happy to be corrected) that 002 upwards were all fully fitted out when left factory.
Given these (805s and 807s) are not really much (?) different from 800s and 801s I would expect type testing to be less important or less involved.
There is always the testing that Avanti would have wanted for their specific route and usage - how much ?.
But for for a version quite different (the 810s) I would expect it to all need type testing again, certainly more than these 805s and 807s.
