Should really be a 50% discount on the off peak fare otherwise railcards now look more attractive if its after 10am.

The Strathclyde Concessionary Travel Scheme is for elderly and disabled people.

Therefore a Senior Railcard or Disabled Railcard (neither of which has time restrictions relevant to the SPT area) may be a suitable choice, as it provides 1/3 discount on the Off-Peak fares.

So the example journey above would cost £4.05 (discounted from the £6.10 Off-Peak Day Return without railcard).

Im a holder of the card, but also a 16-25 railcard. The faff of dealing with ticket offices/queueing and also the gates rejecting the tickets in the evening (despite being exempt from that) means I'm much more drawn to just using the Scotrail app now with the railcard I have, unless I need to be in pre-10am.

If it was 50% off the OFF-PEAK fare however, then the concession would actually be decent still. It was temporarily like that during the 6 month trial.
