Hi all
I help write the Preserved Electric Multiple Unit guide for the Railway Heritage Register Partnership. (Link - http://www.emu.rhrp.org.uk/Preserved Electric Multiple Units & Railcars.pdf)
Anyway, from reading up quite a few Glasgow Subway Carriages have been preserved (21 total), however there is very little to no information as to what has been preserved and where.
The ones i have numbers and locations for are as follows
107 - Private Location
117 - Beatroute Arts Centre - (https://www.scotsman.com/news/transport/glasgow-subway-carriages-nursery-studio-cafe-4859480)
120 - Hutchesons and Pollock Park (https://www.facebook.com/100063796700678/videos/pcb.1077620294374517/1467202800630938)
124 - Ivy in the park Children Centre - (Glasgow Live facebook)
128 - Glasgow Transport Museum
129 - Private Location
Apparently 11 have gone to the Hidden lane Finnieston (Finnieston Railway station) according to the video on the link above. As well as one ending up in a Academy in Northamptonshire.
If any further information can be provided that would be very much appreciated.
