I'm making a large picture frame for my Fine Art degree show and it will house a very large print of a photograph taken on a train. Ideally I would like to get the glass dimensions of a coach window on a British Rail Class 390 Pendolino. Can anyone help with this? If there are several versions of those carriages, any one will do, it's really not that critical. I have done a lot of searching for this information and I'm not having any luck. Thank you!

All classes of train designated under TOPS are known as British Rail Class XXX.

Got a source for that?

The original point still stands. British Rail didn’t exist when the order was placed.

Brilliant, thanks for this!

Who cares? We all know what was meant.
You might be happy with Wikipedia sources being quoted on here, pal. If that’s the case - fill yer boots, there are plenty of them.
Personally I’d rather see factual info posted when a question is asked.

30 seconds on Google produced the following: https://assets.publishing.service.g...dio-frequency-attenuation-characteristics.pdf

The dimensions you’re after are at the top of page 20.
Are those dimensions accurate? I could have sworn that the windows on a class 390 are a different shape to those on a mark 3 coach, yet both are given as 1.5 x 0.6 metres in that report. I've just come across a Porterbrook Brochure for the mark 3 coaches (https://web.archive.org/web/2015022...rook.com/downloads/brochures/Mk3 Brochure.pdf) which gives the window dimensions of a mark 3 as 1760mm x 660mm.
