Lincoln currently has through trains to Kings Cross and St.Pancras. In the past Great Eastern ran trains from Liverpool St. to York via Lincoln.
Brittania Pacific’s worked the Harwich to Liverpool boat train and also some East Anglia to York through trains.
Third class dining was introduced on the Harwich boat train.
The prominent building referred to the Cathedral.
