As it says above really.

It certainly looks UK to me, electrified with 25kv AC and a mirror for DOO - I was thinking the LTS?

So they couldn't even be bothered to choose a French location...
I would be rather surprised (and impressed) if a journalist had access to a stock photograph of a man holding a phone, specifically on a French railway platform. A very specific set of parameters, I'm sure you'll agree.

For the purposes of the article, the photo helps tell the story.

Right here! Number in the bottom left is the image code, which can be used to find the original image.

If you scroll down you can see other images from the same photo shoot featuring this gentleman. I particularly like the woman in the foreground of this image, which mirrors my expression well when someone's holding a loud conversation in the carriage.

That’s where AI will change the world, on a simple instruction from a journalist it would create a similar photo but with a few badly rendered striped-shirt onion sellers, burning sheep and a tricolour superimposed in the background.
