I was looking for an itinerary Oxford (OXF) to London St Pancras International (STP) ahead of a Eurostar trip next Friday 7th Feb.
As I already hold OXF-CIV (London International) tickets, the prices were a bit irrelevant to me.
However, I noticed that Chiltern had £18 advances, say for the 0904 train, that could not be discounted to a £12 minimum fare using a (16-25) railcard? (I checked this using Southeastern and greateranglia's apps)
The forum's website suggests split advance singles which generates a saving, but this is still not as cheap as a £12 minimum fare...
What am I missing?
