67008 had been static for several weeks but has recently moved and has been used for a bit of shunting so is on its way to returning. 012 has been in pieces, the roof and lots of internals missing, seems quite a way off being back at the moment and 025 is i believe undergoing testing to try and find the gremlin that sets the sanders off, as its fairly intermittent it's not the simplest to rectify.

Saw that SWA-CDF was canned on 1W13, was that due to the same issues at Canton as before and are you aware what the delay in and out of Piccadilly was?
And is it still planned internally as HD06 on 1W96 or is there a set swap?

Not too sure today why it was late off Canton to be honest.
Delay into Manchester looks to have been held at Cheadle Hulme for late running Avanti and XC services, not sn uncommon occurrence!
Yes still planned for HD06 today. Have a good trip.
67025 is planned a little jaunt from ETD to ATC tomorrow afternoon before heading back to the ETD on Thursday.
67029 is planned to work 1W96 tomorrow swapping with 67014 on HD04 tomorrow at Canton whilst on its downtime after 1V39.

Does anyone know why the 1630 Manchester has only been going as far as Cardiff in recent times (I think since the TT change?). On RTT it is showing as Altered WTT schedule but i just wondered if there was a reason for this given the set would still end its day at Canton.

1V62 from Manchester arrives into Cardiff around the same time as the ECS coming from Swansea ex 1V50 did, until some form of a solution is found it'll continue as Canton don't like accepting 2 MK4s at the same time.

Very similar if on time
Certainly have done this week,
There is a bigger gap between
5V50 & 5V62 than there is between
5V33 & 5V91.
I watched 2 the other week 1 right behind the other going on to canton
The 2nd stopped barely a coach length behind the 1st.

Lovely journey, a couple damaged seats. The food was absolutely great, a network rail engineer very graciously changed his order because there wasn't enough cod aboard. Very grateful to him.

Going to be the Crewe spare loco. 67025 will go onto HD03 and go out on test tomorrow.
67014 has had adverse oil readings so will head back to ETD tomorrow morning for repair.
HD06 is back at Canton, HD02 will be held for W65 rather than W61 to avoid overloading Canton.
Glad had mostly a good trip. Pencilled in for 67017+HD01 on Friday for V91

Obviously things can happen on the day but both of those are pretty consistent.
W63 comes from Crewe in the morning and has been very rarely substituted recently, the Sunday diagrams are very reliable as only 2 sets are needed so there's normally at least 1 spare to cover in the event of any issues.
