I believe 26255 may be getting swapped tomorrow for 24197 and hull keeping 26256 for the 350 instead as it can be used

That's what I been informed by my source at Hull not sure how true however

Apparently 26255 couldnt swap as it was on 111's

== Doublepost prevention - post automatically merged: ==

Same time I don't believe it as 26255 is on 111's today
Why would they be able to use 26256 on the 350 but not 26255? (other than the fact its in TwoFifty blue pending a repaint..)

26256 is in standard livery so could go on anything where as 26255 can only go on selective hull routes that don't go over 250/350 routes

Info from my source at the depot, I'm not at the depot so not sure of situation exactly correct

I see, that does make sense! With the rumoured talks of moving the 22xxx/24xxxs out of Hull, do you know what their destination would have been if it were to happen?

If bustimes is to be believed 37458 has been out today in Hull which is unusual as normally Hull don't send Enviro 200s or short length Enviro 200MMCs out on a Sunday. But might be related to Hull needing extra buses this week compared to a normal sunday due to the football park and ride being on.

Plus the people of Grimsby are used to blue -liveried buses turning up at random on local routes, and indeed various iterations of the Interconnect livery! There was a 250-liveried bus out today (Sunday), I believe on 3's.

Meanwhile as for the alleged fleet replacement, I think it's fairly clear that some of the euro 3 e400s will be staying for the time being. If the info so far is correct there are only six buses left to enter service in Grimsby (19195/6/200/206/210 from Skegness and 10899 which is here but not yet in service), whereas there are 19 older e400s still in use!
Plus a driver has just told me that 21270 is due to be withdrawn, so presumably one of the transfers will replace it.

There will be around 15 more E400s coming from Manchester in the Spring which should hopefully see off the remaining Euro 3 Tridents

I heard the 22xxx/24xxx were initially going to split Mansfield and Grimsby switching for 26xxx and 27xxx but never happened and doubt it will happen

Suspect the Manchester E400's stopped that plan

My friend at the depot said the 12 was singles aswell he was told it was just what was allocated

He said there were plenty spare double deckers in the yard as there usually is on a Sunday

There was talks I believe of some Volvo B7RLEs coming to Hull to replace 22xxx MANs of same age due to reliability issues but it never happened last year I suspected it be the ex Chester ones

Just seen a post on YouTube claiming it is "confirmed" that the Volvo B7RLES will be withdrawn soon. I know 21273 has gone and 21270 is rumoured to be going, but does anyone know if the rest are definitely off soon?

I believe that youtuber works at Stagecoach so it's possible his info is legit

I do recall last summer I think there was a plan to move MAN E300s to Mansfield and Worksop in exchange for some integral E300s with one of the PO59s even making it to Mansfield before being called back to Hull so it's something they've looked at in the past

I believe 26256 has replaced 26255 at Hull and is on 12's today

No idea what situation with 24197 and 26255 is however

24197 has taken up service in Hull this afternoon on 12s having presumably gone back dead mileage.
26255 isn't showing any use on bustimes today, but I would guess that whoever took 24197 to Hull might be bringing it back to Grimsby- if it's coming back that is.

26255 is apparently on the bus park
26256 is apparently on 12's

That’s a shame was hoping to see the livery in first person, and for 15 year old bangers too

Disappointed 10738 didn’t see service in Hull in new livery before moving. One looks to be 19101 according to bustimes

From my friend at Hull Depot

10738 hasn't gone it was another standard liveried one (as it's been noted on pits today with a half repainted 19639)

but 4 deffinatly left (10739 may have actually been the other one)

19101 is apparently on 3's the rest are not yet in service

10738 is still in hull with the other bus getting repainted 19639

Why couldn’t they send 10737 anyway
As it was in service I believe

Just seems better to keep like 10734/5/6/7 to be together unless it doesn’t really matter

Some sad news which reached me last night is that former Stagecoach East Midland, and before that Clydeside Scottish, general manager George Watson passed away just before Christmas. He was the man who introduced Routemasters to the streets of Glasgow back in 1985.

Sadly bus operations don't work that way random buses get moved around alot

Example 36805/36806 are in South Wales whilst rest of the batch are still on Merseyside

It's operational needs as to why buses move

Was told all 4 were transferes to Scunthorpe this morning and Hull have gained 4 withdrawn E400's one being 19101

Theres pictures on the bustimes.org discord of 10734 and 10736 operating in Sheffield at the moment doing tram replacements. The Yorkshire drivers potentially picked them up from Scunny to take on to Sheffield before they come back to Scunny I guess

10736 appears to be in Yorkshire on loan for tram replacements

Not sure if it was related but Sheffield Supertram was suspended for a time this morning between Meadowhall and Parkgate "due to a Fright Train blocking the track" (!) with through trams between Cathedral and Parkgate resuming shortly after 12 noon.

My source at Hull depot has been told the other 3 19*** should be out tomorrow in service they all had to gain a full service as we're on withdrawn lines waiting for scrap but all 4 should be staying at Hull

Also a update on 10534/5/6 (not 10739 that's broken in depot)

They have apparently been rejected by Scunthorpe for Service and instead are doing a event or special service with Stagecoach Yorkshire Chesterfield Depot? of some sort this weekend unsure what then will be returned to Hull on Monday

The 19's Hull have gained are to give Hull a 8% spare allocation meaning no lost millage and also spare buses to cover repaints and repairs etc

So Scunthorpe will use 15 year old bangers but won’t accept some newer mmc? Seems odd

Update 19101 is still in hull however 19489/19501 are supposedly 2 others my source checked the depot when he finished however when he started 3 old 19's were there so looks like either couple of extras or been swapped he unsure unless 19489/501 are in for MOT

19489 is meant to be a Gainsborough vehicle and 19509 a Worksop vehicle so they shouldn't have moved over from Scunthorpe unless plans have changed. Both have valid MOTs until Feb and April so it won't be that. I suspect one of the older vehicles is 19009, it was pictured in Scunthorpe on the day the ex-Gainsborough MMC's moved over to Grimsby and has not been in service since, so imagine it was left there for disposal/storage.
