I appreciate the quote but you might want to re-read back a bit further because I was replying to someone else saying they were “prioritising” BAME, I was saying the same thing as you and I am in complete agreement.
Representation matters. Everywhere. :)
lol. I guess I’m behind the curve. Thank you sir! Have a good day.

I’m not sure as I didn’t have to do it when I did my assessment but I’m sure someone will advise
Thanks for reply mate, what’s the driver fault finder cover?

The DFFT test asseses your ability to think logically and follow clearly laid out information to assess defects and the order of priority in which they should be dealt with. The practice matarial they send is a good representation of the actual test, but the real thing under timed conditions is a little harder.

You are given an instruction sheet, a sheet containing nominal values for systems on a train and then the test paper.

You have to compare the readings on the test paper to those in the instructions and nominal values. You then have to identify the problems and put them in order of priority.

It will make much more sense when you see the actual practice material.

Hi i've just passed all the assessments at Southeastern, i also applied to GTR for the trainee driver at Victoria, dioes anyone know if my pass at southeastern will be enough for GTR as well?
I passed the assessments with SE first then the Southern assessment day arrived. When I got there they took me to one side and said that I didn’t need to do the tests as I’d already done them with SE. The only further test I had to do was a fault finding test.

Could be months till we hear back from them, they’re probably shifting through hundreds of applications. I presume since the job went out in November we may hear back from them in the next month or so. Did anyone receive a opc email after doing the SJT?

I suppose no news is good news?
Absolutely I'd agree with this, I waited 4 years between my 2nd application and getting invited to resit tests but than it flew through and I got application process done and job offered in 3 months.

So to those waiting I'd Absolutely say just hang on in there and don't assume it's bad.

I applied for a Trainee Train Driver role with GTR in March or April.. Passed the tests and my DMI in September and it looks as though I'll be starting sometime towards the end of this year. It's a long process with lots of time in between each stage.

I'm sure it will be worth the wait and can't wait to get started.

Hang in there all!

I just received the miniSCAAT assessment link to do. I think they had started to review the SJT Tests so be a lookout on your emails.

Ditto. MiniSCAAT assessment has just come through as well.

Exciting stuff! Things are moving a lot faster than I thought.
Which depot did you apply for if you don't mind me asking. I'm still waiting for an email. I wonder how long it will take.

Same here but I haven't heard anything as of yet. Here's to hoping to the good news soon
Just check your junk and other emails. Also log in to the GTR job portal to see if you've been sent another email about an online test

The only one I got was the questionnaire I did. I've checked my junk mail and online portal and no other new emails have been sent. I'm going to wait for a bit longer as I don't want to send the HR team an email before I get the dreaded thanks but no thanks email. Similar to the c2c one that came out late last year

MiniSCAAT invite received from GTR yesterday, OPC link received within the ten minutes of GTR advising to keep an eye out. MiniSCAAT completed this morning. I so prefer SCAAT over Group Bourdon. I don't see dots for the rest of the day with SCAAT. :D

Just completed the Mini SCAAT, just thought I’d drop a comment as it’s my first time applying. Do they expect people to finish each page on the Mini SCAAT within the 2 minute time slot?
I managed to get 3/4 of the way through each page. I was more so focusing on not missing any as opposed to rushing to ensure I finish but then missing some.

No i believe accuracy is most important as my partner passed it before and she never completed the entire pages on either of the 3 sections

Does everybody receive the miniSCCAT test on the same day or does it vary. I have not received mine yet but I was not told that I didn’t pass the SJT

== Doublepost prevention - post automatically merged: ==

Also, if you passed a miniSCAAT test with GTR over 12 months ago would you need to do it again for this campaign

Mine took a few days to arrive. It's more of a waiting game I would say. Keep checking your emails to see if it's come through and your junk mail too

People seem to have to do the Mini Scaat each time they apply.

Not always. In the past some I've known to apply for it have gotten a straight rejection email from the SJT questionnaire they've done
