I have been informed 10734 and 10738 have transferred from Hull to Grimsby 2 buses have transferred the other way but not clear on what

Does anyone happen to know what has transferred? Or even if it's true

The last I heard the 107xx were staying in Hull a bit longer before moving but plans could have changed since then.

That's what I thought but my source there said 10734/10738 were collected for Grimsby yesterday no idea what arrived the other way

Drove past Victoria Street depot earlier, neither vehicle was out in the open, however there was a long line of deckers behind the Open Toppers near the entrance, however it was that dark inside and I was driving I couldn't clock what was what!

10734 is tracking in Hull on 12s so it is not at Grimsby.

Wonder if 36076/77 be for hull as a few weeks ago hull was supposed to be getting couple from Midlands, and wouldn’t surprise me if Hull get singles while everywhere else gets double decks

26271 appears to have done 250s all morning before jumping on to Hull locals, one for Hull spotters to keep an eye out for! (unless it's a bustimes.org error of course)

Just to add to the confusion, Stagecoach Manchester 11737 is running in service (in Manchester) with a tiny "Grimsby" sticker on the front - presumably an instruction on where to deliver it!
My mate sent me the attached photo which depicts the sticker next to the Stagecoach name and also shows the vehicle registration number YX73 OXS

Just to add to the confusion, Stagecoach Manchester 11737 is running in service (in Manchester) with a tiny "Grimsby" sticker on the front - presumably an instruction on where to deliver it!

We did this when Go North West moved out of Queens Road, it's very handy and much better than keeping reading out lists to people

I think the plan at one point was that the 73s would be going to Grimsby so presume that is why it ended up with that sticker. It should end up at the right depot as East Midlands will be sending their drivers to pick them up I think Saturday night.

I suppose getting to Grimbsy is a lot easier than getting to Skeg!

The vehicles could always go to Grimsby to stop and refuel etc, and then drive down to Skeg and bring back the Tridentviros Grimsby are due from Skeg (19195/6/200/6/7/10) with them

Bustimes are showing the transfers from Manchester this morning.
12 Enviro 400MMC (11731-11742) and no fewer than 46 Enviro 400 (19393/19396/19480/19484-19499/19501-19509/19516-19531/19533 and 19564).
None are tracking so no idea regarding allocations as yet.

Some of 11731-6 (Gainsborough's YX73 MMCs) have entered service on the 100 today although not tracking. Frees up 10896-901 for transfer elsewhere (Grimsby and 901 to Skeg). 19393, 19531/3 are for Grimsby.

Bustimes indicating 10898 has entered service at Grimsby but is not tracking on the map, currently operating the 2.

I thought it probably wasn’t 19121. Last time I saw 19377 it wasn’t track as any number on bustimes but not sure about 19382 or 22614 as haven’t seen these recently.

This has been happening quite a few times during these last few weeks on the Stagecoach Mansfield 141 route too. Today a double decker 18416 has been tracking on the route all day and on occasions Pronto liveried double deckers have also recently been tracking on the 141 route. As far as I know there hasn’t actually been a double decker on that route between Mansfield and Nottingham since the late 1970’s! In the days when it was operated by Midland General the route was all double deckers but these were phased out when Trent took over Midland General. Stagecoach in Mansfield have now been operating the route since Sept 2022 but I’ve not seen any double deckers.

Today, in addition to one bus tracking as a double decker, there is also another bus not tracking. This happens quite often and is really inconvenient on an hourly service through some rural areas, especially as by late afternoon buses are often running with delays of up to 30 minutes or more.

There is a bridge on Moor Road between Hucknall and Bestwood Village but there are no warning signs to indicate that there are any height restrictions under this bridge. When the route was historically operated by Midland General, before the late 1970’s, the route was always operated using double deckers.

Is 19379 not out then as it was tracking as itself on Friday and looking on bustimes there is only one lot of tracking for 19379. Is it not 10741 tracking as 19121 as its the one missing the tracking on bustimes.

I'm by no means an expert (!) and this is purely guessing, but perhaps it's been given a spare ticket machine which hasn't been set up with bus fleet number, GPS tracking etc. 19007 and 19009 both weren't tracking reliably if at all recently, so if it's inherited the machine from either of those it could be another possible explanation.

If I'm honest I don't get why it be tracking as 19121 that bus shouldn't even be on there machine file as it's not a Hull bus

It's like 22614 been tracking as 22635 which is withdrawn in depot in bits from what I been told

And 19377 god knows what that's been tracking as but today was 19379 as my friend wanted 379 on his duty but 377 appeared instead

Also still unaware what 19382 tracking as currently


Also other news 19639 is in paint shop for refurb and repaint (like 10738 was) as it's now gained a new engine and gearbox

10738 is getting work done to complete it from my source it includes blue bars new flooring, next stop audio and white LEDs same way as newer MMCs
