Has for ages I think?I can't speak for 221/2/3 having never used them, but the PIS on the 2-door buses bought new informs passengers that they must alight from the front door at some stops.
The powered ramp on this bus is clearly still in place and I can’t see any indication that a manual ramp has been installed on the front entrance - https://richardgodfrey.smugmug.com/Go-Ahead/Brighton-Hove/i-n63H9Lc/AHas for ages I think?

The ex London Volvo B9 dual doors had the ramp moved / installed at the front I think?
They've 100% got a ramp at the front (manual) but don't know what the status is of the one at the middle. The powered ramp on this bus is clearly still in place and I can’t see any indication that a manual ramp has been installed on the front entrance - https://richardgodfrey.smugmug.com/Go-Ahead/Brighton-Hove/i-n63H9Lc/A
6014/5 are at Copthorne permanently, providing cover to enable ex Southdown vehicles to go to refurb beginning next month.Looks like Metrobus have a bit of a double decker shortage at the moment with 6014 and 6015 covering at Copthorne. Whatever is tracking as 6960 is also a single decker as that bus itself broke down in Caterham yesterday.
I know, but another post said the doors were being removed, at least on some of them.Dual door buses make up a significant part of the fleet already. Additionally removing the centre exit means that a manual ramp needs to be installed at the front which is costly.
The images of buses outshopped thus far (https://history.buses.co.uk/history/fleethist/images/adl368.jpg) would appear to suggest that they are retaining dual door configuration). Also, there is no evidence of a manual ramp in the front door.I know, but another post said the doors were being removed, at least on some of them.
I wonder whether B&H leapt at the chance to offload the B5LHs...It's interesting they have cascaded the hybrid Geminis to Go North West, which these ex Sullivan Buses are meant to be indirectly replacing and yet there doesn't seem to be any issues so far?
I think I'd put good money on it. The first E400 seems to have entered service today as wellI wonder whether B&H leapt at the chance to offload the B5LHs...
There also appears to be a policy within TfGM work to use hybrids where possible - a lot of B5LHs are now congregating there (as well as a lot of E400H from Stagecoach moving to Metroline in January).I wonder whether B&H leapt at the chance to offload the B5LHs...
No there's still 2 left I think according to the current Brighton & HoveThe last of the B5LHs withdrawn today to go to Manchester.
Which does beg the question if the 3 ex Go Ahead London E400 are staying for the long term. As they weren't meant to be.I think the members of the forum already know this, but the ex sullivan e400mmcs are probably gonna stay in Lewes road bus garage; in the current fleet, all of the 2016 low height Streetdecks remaining in Lewes Road are the ones being cascaded to Conway Street depot (except 822-824) to run on Conway routes which includes the 2.
There were 3 B@H buses parked up in a yard next to the A1 not far from Darlington today.I wonder whether B&H leapt at the chance to offload the B5LHs...
Are they the 3 for East Yorkshire 440/441/450There were 3 B@H buses parked up in a yard next to the A1 not far from Darlington today.
Whereabouts? Leeming Bar?There were 3 B@H buses parked up in a yard next to the A1 not far from Darlington today.
I think it was in that areaWhereabouts? Leeming Bar?
Proctors yard thenI think it was in that area
Metrobus have started moving Hydrogen buses onto the 430/5 local route in Redhill - saw one this morning operating.
They have had the Ex Coaster streetdecks transfer, then the B9TL E400s and also the Scanias so they are way better off than Conway StreetHas a route moved from Lewes Road, or PVR reduced, as they with the B9s and the streetdecks going and only being replaced by the Sullivan's are definitely down a number of vehicles?
