Ok good luck. I'm sure I read somewhere you can use the previous pass results for up to 5 years...Dec 2020 passed all but the 2 hand test, but will wait for email (if I have got through to assessments) to ask wether my results still hold

I’ve applied for BirminghamCongrats! For which depot may I ask?
and it was at this moment that I realised I haven’t changed my location on hereGood question! Which Chiltern depot is within 45 minutes commute of Shrewsbury?
Just shows as blank sadly! You checked your application status? I’ve not had an email yet but my status has gone from VSE to OPC stage 1.

I’m Birmingham depot though
I believe Chiltern's validity period is 5 years, but that would meed you'd need to get onto a course before Dec 2025 if you passed the 2hand and MMI on your 2nd go. Got my DMI invite today, has anyone had a DMI with Chiltern and got any advice?
I’ve done my DMI now on the Monday just passed. And I am happy to say i managed to pass it, so I’m buzzingWere you given a date or did they invite you for the future once other people have completed stage 1 and 2?
Yeah but they did a recruitment drive for Birmingham Moor street in April this year so I’m assuming there’s very little vacancies so they’re handpicking a few for it, my status says OPC stage 1 whereas someone I spoke to who’s been invited, their status is OPC stage 2, so maybe I was wrong to assume that I was through. Is what it is I’ll just wait and see if I hear anything.Seems strange how they're doing it, some have passed DMI now, some have been invited to assessments, others have had their status changed to assessments but not been invited yet.
Thanks. You too!
Congratulations, I guess it goes to show emailing the recruitment team and explaining your situation can be beneficial.
As far as I know it’s a pass or fail thing, there’s no enhanced. Is the MMI set at a standard or enhanced pass rate or is it just a pass if you've passed it before?.

I think it may just be a website glitch on the status page? Some people have stage 1 and some have stage 2, yet no one has actually been to the assessments yet. So whilst the website seems to reflect different stages, in reality we may all be in the same place? The confirmation email I received suggested that stage 1 takes place first, if you fail you're turned away otherwise you progress to stage 2 all in one day. I believe you & I applied for the same depot so I am just working that assumption on the applicants for BMO.
I am going to assume that also includes an interview at that assessment day.
I see where you’re coming from, not everyone who applies for jobs is on this forum though, and one person has been invited (so far) so they are progressing people.I think it may just be a website glitch on the status page? Thanks. I take it most folks dress smart? I was advised there is no dress code for the assessment day (MMI included)The assessment day will include the MMI interview usually at the end of the day. Some applicants don’t get that far due to having failed a test earlier in the day. The MMI is not to be confused with the DMI which will be carried out at the TOC by a Driver Manager or similar.
I've done my test and still waiting to see if I have passed or not . I'm worried as I did make a couple of mistakesIs anyone else still waiting for a reply? I’ve logged in current status still shows as empty. Have sent an email chaser today
Log in to the Chiltern website and check the stage it says for your application. A few people's stages have gone from VSE to 1.7 OPC Stage 1 or 1.9 OPC Stage 2. Seems like the people at 1.9 OPC Stage 2 are the only ones who have heard back on completing the VSE.I've done my test and still waiting to see if I have passed or not . Thank you.No dress code for the OPC assessment day, no.
Treat it as an interview. Dress formal. When I completed my tests everyone dressed at the OPC was dressed in smart wear such as shirt, trousers, shoes etc.Thanks. I take it most folks dress smart? I was advised there is no dress code for the assessment day (MMI included)
The VSE isn't like the other assessments it only lasts 6 months I think.. might not even be that long.I had an email from the hiring manager about doing a VSE so I replied saying I did it in 2023 but apparently it has to be reset. Anyone else been asked to redo it?
I have now had a link to the VSE sent from the OPC so I will do it tonight!
I see, thank youThe VSE isn't like the other assessments it only lasts 6 months I think.. might not even be that long.
So if you did it in 2023, you'll have to do it again
Solid advice, thank you.Treat it as an interview. Dress formal. When I completed my tests everyone dressed at the OPC was dressed in smart wear such as shirt, trousers, shoes etc.
What date is your OPC assessments?Solid advice, thank you.
