Not sure how long this has been the case for, but I've just noticed the TfL national rail map (updated today for the new Overground line names) shows the Elizabeth line stopping at Moorgate but serving Liverpool Street only via an interchange. It's the map at https://tfl.gov.uk/maps/track/national-rail (with a link to the full PDF of the map at https://content.tfl.gov.uk/london-rail-and-tube-services-map.pdf). I assume the logic is that they don't want to show multiple stations along the line when it's actually stopping at a single station. And with that in mind, there's some sense in preferring Moorgate because that's the station the platforms are closest to, and which therefore has the shortest walk from the entrance.
It's an intriguing choice for how to show a rather complex set-up, and somewhat different design from the tube map (https://tfl.gov.uk/maps/track/tube) which shows the Elizabeth line stopping at a station that might be either Liverpool Street or Moorgate but not clear from the map which one.
I'm curious which way of showing it people think is better?
