507029 + 507003 Are not following the usual diagram on Southports, Instead they seem to be forming the 17 past Liverpool Central departure to Southport. I caught them at BLN which arrived at 07:40

The Southport pair is still out as far as I know.

507023 is on the Chester line, currently forming the 10.42 circuit from Chester albeit delayed by flooding.

There are also no more spare 777’s so I presume there will be an empty diagram

That diagram got covered again on the way back up to Ormskirk, started at Sandhills at 1446. Not sure what unit was used

507003 and 029 have split at Southport following the 17.17 Liverpool Central - Southport service. 003 is continuing with the diagram with the 18.18 from Southport, whilst 029 has retired to Southport sidings.

Just gone through Capenhurst no stop headed for Chester. 2C47 running 15 late

I managed two rides on 003/029 this afternoon. Pleasant surprise. I also picked up the blue 507 squashy train from an MtoGo shop at central. A very productive day ))))))

To answer the earlier question 001 is not in a serviceable condition.

I was on 023 during the disruption and after being kicked off at Hooton around 7 they told us to all get back on and we headed to Chester very late where it then formed a late departure of the 19:27 CTR-CTR

Would anyone here have any idea about what the disruption at Chester was caused by? MR only mentioned "security issues" as have other sources, but I'm wondering if there's any more information about it.

I believe there was a suspicious package on a bus outside the station. Also another on another bus at the bus station. Both bus and train station closed, however all found to be ok.

507023 will be on 2C07 0742 From Chester.

Can confirm 023 on Chesters with info boards saying 3 car, seems to still be distribution on the line with 023 being 12 late

507023 appears to have been cancelled due to a train fault while working 2C14.

I'm not 100% sure but I believe it swapped to a different diagram earlier, it seemed to get into Chester after it's return working had apparently already departed

Either that or they swapped it for a 777

Looks like it was running 2C14 when cancelled - it ran 2C07 arriving at 09:20 then departed on 2C14 at 09:27.

507003 is also about to be pulled following the 11.32 Liverpool Central - Southport. The replacement 777 awaits in platform 3.

Sadly it's unlikely barring a 777 failure. Merseyrail still refuse to acknowledge how painfully busy the Southport trains get on a Saturday so I expect 003 and 029 to sit the weekend out now.
