Seeking very much for an alternative method of transport, we next take the eleven minute/0.5 mile walk to the tram stop for the 1810 Nottingham Express Transit service to Toton Lane, arriving there at 1913 on Sunday.

With no bus routes in the vicinity on a Sunday we depart on the next available NET tram at 1920, alighting at University Boulevard Tram Stop at 1935 on Sunday.

We decide going against the predictable Nottingham to Derby flow on the Indigo service, so instead we take the six minute walk to West Gate and board the 2000 Nottingham City Transport Orange Line service 36 to Chilwell (Mottram Road), arriving there at 2011 on Sunday.

Our only options on this Sunday evening seem to be either a further journey on the 36 or a further jounrey on the tram, so we walk 6 minutes to the Bramcote Lane tram stop, where we board the NET tram at 2024. We alight at Old Market Square tram stop at 2054 on Sunday.

We take the eight minute walk to stop T4 of the Victoria Centre, where we board the 2120 Nottingham City Transport Brown Line service 15 to Rise Park (Bestwood Park Drive West/Pine Hill Close), arriving there at 2144 on Sunday.

Lets wait 20 minutes and go forward on Lincolnshire Road Car (t/a Stagecoach East Midlands) service 210 at 0847. We alight at Mansfield Woodhouse, High St at 0856 on Monday.

Just too far away from the railway station at this point, so we instead board the 0940 Stagecoach East Midlands service 1 to Alfreton (Bus Station), arriving there at 1058 on Monday.

Alfreton has fantastic integrated transport, meaning that the railway station is roughly a mile from the bus station, so we depart on Yorkshire Traction (t/a Stagecoach Yorkshire) service 140 at 1113. We alight at the delights of Matlock Bath, Fishpond Hotel at 1159 on Monday.

We next take the 12.20 High Peak service TP to Buxton, Sylvan Park arriving at 13.47 on Monday.
