The last XX:38 is 18:36, where its goes to 30 minute services, and it looks like 018 would then be on the XX:53 departures

Anyone know where 003 and 023 are currently?
Post 3390 says they worked the 9.02 from Central to Southport. This is the diagram that currently has a gap during the day for driver training. It resumes with the 1603 from Southport so they might be on there unless Merseyrail find a 777 to replace them. In between the units will either be in Southport station or the carriage sidings outside.

507029 currently on 2Y21.
507018 should be on 2N34 (disrupted and will probably turn back on Birkenhead North).
507003 and 023 should be on 2G42 out of Southport.

It’s nice to see the 507s enjoying a little revival. Pity they weren’t operating when I was up there but it’s great they’re not going to the chopper just yet. So am I correct to think that 507001 is being preserved and 507003 is being retained for monitoring purposes?

Could anyone please confirm if 507003 and 023 are still together working on the Southport line this evening (2G58 onwards) or have they split?
Yes, split down to a three-car. No ID but based on what played out on Traksy, I think 023 was the one which continued in service.
They stayed out as a pair on the 2003 and 2203 off Southport despite the screen at Central stating 3 car for the 2102 departure.

I would expect them to be on all week with the shortage of 777s. I couldnt see any in North Depot, only about 3 in Southport CHS, and the ones in Kirkdale would have the TCU faults023 and 003 on the same diagram again today

I believe it was stabled at Birkenhead Central Siding last night due to the disruption in the Birkenhead North area. I don't think it has entered service today.
There is however currently an ECS move (5T80) from Birkenhead Central to North taking place, most likely 507029 if the above is correct.

UPDATE: It appears the other ECS (Class 777 from Kirkdale depot) is heading to West Kirby to replace 507018, which has terminated at Birkenhead North on 2W16.

018 has been swapped out and will work 5T82 back to depot.
No other 507s out currently. 003 and 023 may feature on 2G42 1603 out of Southport later this afternoon, currently stabled in the Wall Siding at Southport.

Noticed there are some ECS paths (below) in for this Saturday. I presume to provide the units which will feature on the 507 farewell tour this coming Sunday.

There is also a path in following the tour to take the units back to North depot, whether this will actually run is to be seen. The units may just stable at Southport following the tour.
