Odd Overnight EMR ECS Lincoln - Leicester - Lincoln

Wondered if anyone has any knowledge on the reasoning behind the recent overnight ECS moves that EMR have been doing.
The unit seems to go from Lincoln to Leicester, then oddly Leicester - Nottingham - Leicester - Nottingham - Lincoln.
