Are these seats opposite / next to each other?

Hi all,

I'm travelling on a few routes, and I wanted to make sure that the seats we've been given from the booking engine are either opposite each other or next to each other.

In summary:

1033 on 21st October: KX to Leeds K19 and K24
1649 on 21st October: Carlisle to Glasgow Central M21 and M25
Time Unsure on 24th October: Edinburgh to KX M13 & M14 (on LNER)

The 1649 from Carlisle to Glasgow Central (on a Monday) is an Avanti service, isn't it?

Do their Pendolino trains actually have an 'M' coach?

Yep it is avanti, and from a look at it the 11 cars don't have a coach M.

Are you sure it's Coach M there? Because that doesn't exist.

Avanti's seat map shows that as a Pendolino, which only has A, B, D, E and F as reservable standard Class, H as Standard Premium and J and K as 1st Class.
C is unreserved Standard Class on all trains
U and G only exist on 11 coach trains, and are unreserved as well.

A full 11 car Pendolino goes
A-B-C-D-E-F-U-G-H-J-K, definitely no M

The only Coach M on an Avanti is the Standard Class Shop and Bike space coach on a 10 car Evero (805+805), which can't run to Glasgow with passengers.

Scratch that thought, coach K only has 18 seats.

Is there a chance this service is going to be run as a pair of everos?
There is a coach M shown for these on the Avanti seating plan.

On Avanti's website it shows the exact service mentioned as a pendolino, Everos won't run that far north in passenger service, staff aren't trained.

Hmm, ok - these were the seats sent to me by my dad, who booked everything. Certainly the first two have us sitting separately, and the Edinburgh - KX train doesn't seem to have a seat M14! I think I'll get him to contact the website and ask.

M13 and 14 are a side-by-side pair on an Azuma.
There's no M14 on a 225, but they don't work north of York now.

K19 and 24 on a 225 (which the 1033 is booked for) are opposite sides of the gangway - might be worth changing them, or just reckon that 1st won't be full!

I didn't think it would be everos but was scraping the barrel for an M coach on Avanti
